As a composer and reporter, Lou has extensive experience in scoring and audio design, regularly editing dialogues and producing audio reports for Culture File on RTÉ Lyric FM. Her classical compositions are influenced by the structures and aesthetics of video game music, arranged for a small chamber ensembles. In Butter-flies, she captures the frenetic energy of 8-bit soundscapes through pizzicato strings, while the album subtly incorporates leitmotifs, themes, game-over stems, stingers, and various structures of video game scores.
