Description:

What a producer does depends heavily on the context. AAA, AA and indie companies all have their own affordances on planning and running projects. However, all three have one thing in common: Being a good producer means having the ability to empathise. While it is normal to learn and discuss different project management frameworks like Waterfall, Agile or more specifically Kanban and Scrum, we rarely talk about the essential social skills producers require to tackle everyday tasks and challenges. This panel talk is focusing on exactly this. Three producers from AAA, AA and indie companies will share and discuss how they make and facilitate decisions, how they deal with different conflicts and how leading a team means learning to understand how each team member feels and acts.
